2026 Reelin in the Future Tournament

We are so excited to announce the first annual 4-H Reelin' in the Future fishing tournament benefitting the Manatee County 4-H Association, currently planned for February 27&28, 2026!

Fishing commences immediately following the Captain’s Meeting on February 27th which begins at 5pm. Tournament ends at 3 pm on Saturday, February 28th with the weigh in to follow at Whiskey Joes - Ellenton (located at 5313 19th St E, Ellenton, FL 34222)! Awards will be held at 4 p.m.

Largest combined overall length will determine the winner.

Largest individual “trash can” fish

Fish well, win prizes!

1st Place – $3,000

2nd Place – $2,000

3rd Place – $1,000

1st Place – $1,000

3rd Place – $300

Prize distribution is based on the total number of teams participating. Presented payout is based on 5 or more teams. 

Largest Overall Snook – $250

Largest Overall Trout – $250

Largest Overall Redfish – $250

Trash Can (Largest Individual Catfish, Ladyfish, or Jack) – $250
